I've known I was bisexual since before I was in high school.
I've been attracted to guys 'like that' for as far back as I could remember.
Growing-up, alot of us pushed these thoughts and feelings out of our minds.
When one grows up attracted to both, one has to 'act straight.'
I was terrified of being outed, growing up, so consequently, I was too afraid to do anything with any of the other boys when I was growing up.
I realize now, I did myself a huge disservice by not being honest back then, about who I was, and what I wanted.
For most of the time I've realized I was bi-, I drank, and engaged in alot of unhealthy behaviour, in dark, back rooms, with some fairly shady people.
Eventually, I made my way to where I am now, Providence.
It's a tiny city, but it's got a vibrant nightlife community.
There's some amazing nightclubs, and a vibrant gay/fetish/trans/drag community. I've been working in this community for the past 10 years.
There's still a residual shyness I've been overcoming, as a result of how I was raised, and having a basic shame of my sexuality and my body.
Some scars don't ever really heal...but we can find a way to use those, perhaps to help others.
I'm looking to be a legitimate third in a triune relationship, with a wonderful couple.
